I’ve been meaning to do an underwater example of the Playsport for a while now, but it hasn’t been the best temperature in NJ to do this :) .  Check out this video I found of someone using the Kodak Playsport camera while snorkeling in Mexico!

I just uploaded two videos to YouTube with samples I took during a drive today in my car.  The first is 720P at 60FPS, and the second is 720P at 30FPS.  (The sound has been replaced as it was pretty loud in my car.  (Looks like YouTube may have compressed it a little so if you are interested in the raw footage leave a comment).

This is a sample photo taken outside on a sunny day with my camera.

Check out my Flickr for some more kodak playsport sample photos.

Snapped a couple of quick pictures of my Kodak Playsport.  Notice how everything is tucked nicely beneath locking doors (probably related to the water resistance).

This is the USB port, the hdmi port, and the composite A/V out port.

This is where the battery and the SD card go.

Shot from the front.

The Kodak Playsport comes in three different colors:

Notice that only the back of the device is shown here.  That’s because the front of each camera is white (no matter what color you choose).  Keep that in mind when choosing your color!  Click on each one to see more pictures.

Well I’ve been waiting a long time for this, and my Kodak Playsport finally came in the mail today.  Stay tuned and I’ll upload some pictures and sample video later this week.  I got it at Amazon.
